Stewart Interview before Designers Showcase of Homes
This was my
own personal residence. I designed the plan for my family with several goals in mind. I
wanted a strong, timeless architecture to lead into large multi-use spaces. I did this
with the two story great room you see here, with its formal entertaining ability as well
as everyday functionality. I placed a very good sized study accessible from the foyer as
well as a deck on the right side of the main floor. The left side has a very nice kitchen
and large dining room that again does daily as well as formal duty. Downstairs is a large
rec. room, utility and meditation room that could double as storage. The garage is an
oversized two car design.
Upstairs are three generous bedrooms connected with a sky bridge overlooking the great
room and foyer. Please see the photographs and videotape of this home. It is strong,

is one our alltime best home designs. Stunning presence and scale greet you with this MSA
Prairie luxury home. The exterior has it all. The floor plan has it all. And it fits on a
flat or sloping lot (with or without the basement plan.) Just feast your eyes on this
place and I'm sure you'll see the fabulous quality in its design. We also have this design

MSAP-2636This has been the most successful design debuting in the highly competitive Designers Showcase Of Homes. Builders and buyers have both flocked to the open great room deign on the main floor. As the pictures reveal this arrangement gives way to long views through the home, and this along with the graceful Coved ceilings give the feeling of much more space that is really here. The main floor master suite has also been a favorite among couples and parents of older children. The kitchen is truly generous as is the ding room.. The basement in this house offers great flexibility. Some of my clients have finished the entire lower floor while others build it just like the plan. Both options are possible with the stock plan. We have revisions to this design from 2400 square feet up to 2908 square feet. If you have a downsloping lot and want one story with a basement this IS THE PLAN FOR YOU!!

MSAP-2478One of the most popular designs from The Mark Stewart Designers Showcase Of Homes, this beauty was built by SR Turner Construction. Builders and buyers alike have loved the striking Frank Lloyd Wright inspired exterior and well designed floor plan. The double deep right hand garage bay is another big plus as it allows for a third garage stall, storage or shop area. The Volume ceiling in the living room can be seen by clicking on the living room button. As you can see this gives this space a formal and important feeling, while not sacrificing livability or scale. The family room can also be seen with a click of the mouse, and as this picture shows it is cozy and functional . Inspection of the floor plan will reveal more of this plans livability. Three bedrooms are upstairs in addition to the large bonus room, and a downstairs den completes the layout. This is truly a striking design, that will be sure to satisfy the most demanding homeowner.
Plan MSAP-2685This spectacular MSA Prairie design is
a trimmed down version of our all time best selling corner lot
home. This is possibly the most dynamic exterior for a 2685 sq. foot plan we have ever
produced. Low pitched hip roofs with broad eaves give this home a sophisticated yet
practical feel. The floor is plan is richly embellished with four bedrooms and a den, to
compliment the large family, kitchen, nook areas. This design fits on a small lot with its
efficient footprint. Please take a close look at this design for those difficult corner
lots, acreage as well as 70+ wide rectangular lots.

This fantastic design was built by expert Custom
Home Builder T. Henry construction for The Designers Showcase Of Homes 94.
Put simply, this is the best selling Prairie Design in our collection. It is designed for
an uphill sloping lot, and takes advantage of a view to the front. At only 1871 square
feet this home truly lives big. The living room boasts an 11'0" ceiling height for
instance. There are three bedrooms and a den in addition to the spacious
family/nook/kitchen spaces so popular with all of our buyers. There is even a formal

in Portland Oregon. Frank was a participant in our Designers Showcase Of Homes when he
came to me with an idea for a revision to one of our stock plans. This is the result!!
This outstanding design was voted Best Of Show out of 12 entry's in The Designers Showcase
Of Homes.. There is everything to like here from the rich detail of the Prairie exterior
to the oversized bedrooms and the private Master Suite. We have since developed a smaller
version of this plan that is also included in our CD ROM if this
one is too big. It is plan #MSAP 2612.
